Little Miss Lexi was positively glowing for her First Birthday Session in Cranberry Woods. This sweet fashionista started the session with some family shots, and then changed into her flower crown for a few on her own. Although she was feeling most comfortable in Mommy’s arms, we still got some great smiley shots. What is more beautiful than a child loving on their parents? That smile certainly says it all.
The F Family - Family Session
I am the lucky aunt, godmother, and personal photographer of this little man; my nephew Leo! He is the absolute sweetest little squish! It was my pleasure to photograph his family for their first family Christmas card! I don’t know how they’re going to pick favorites - he is absolutely adorable in every shot…and this is only a few of them!

Evan - Senior Portrait Session
Ninety percent of the photography I do is babies and families with young children, but every now and again, I have the pleasure of photographing a high school senior. It is always a treat, as these kids are ending one chapter of their lives, and about to embark on, arguably, the most exciting chapter of college and young adulthood.
I met Evan in Adams Twp. Park, a park that is familiar to his family, as it has been the site of family gatherings throughout the years. We started out with a natural setting during golden hour, then up to the historic schoolhouse, and finally, the high school campus. Evan runs track, so we were sure to get some shots on the track where his mom suggested the awesome shot of lanes 2 & 3 making up a ‘23! Such a great idea! And then it hit me…I graduated high school 20 years ago. Haha!
I wish Evan the best of luck in his future at Edinboro and beyond! He plans to major in biology to eventually pursue a career in Physical Therapy. In the brief amount of time I spent with him, I can tell he has the maturity and strong support system necessary to be a success!
The B Family/Ariana is Six Months! - Family and Baby Milestone Session
I have been photographing this beautiful family since they started their journey as parents over three years ago. I was thrilled when they contacted me to say…Surprise! We now have a baby girl! Ariana is simply adorable, and it was so fun to photograph her in her gorgeous outfit, complete with the sweetest rolls! The B Family requested that we do a family session, and also focus more on Ariana to mark her six month milestone. I was happy to oblige them, as a family portrait session can be whatever the client wants. If you’d like to focus in on a certain family member, or have more candid shots versus more posed…just ask!
Sawyer Jay - Newborn Session
After two months in the NICU, sweet baby Sawyer is home where he belongs. There is no doubt he’ll be receiving a lot of loving from his family, including his two proud big sisters! For his session, we started in the family room, and then moved to his nursery, which features a gorgeous accent wall built by his daddy. The love in this family is positively overflowing, and I am so happy for them that they are now complete!
The D Family - Extended Family Mini Session
Grandparents are one part parent, one part teacher, and one part best friend.
I know this is true of my own children’s grandparents, and I’m certain that’s the case with The D Family, as well. When the whole family has an opportunity to get together, it is always so special. Their grandmother brought along a family heirloom, a quilt made by her own mother, for the session. The quilt, along with some lollipops, served as a perfect prop. Aren’t grandparents known for bringing comfort and sweets to everything they do!?
Atticus is One! - First Birthday Session
The Force is strong with this ONE.
I adore a good theme, and bonus points if Mommy and Daddy bring props! Atticus’ parents are big fans of Star Wars, as are their little guys, so bringing along some of their favorite toys was an easy way to enhance the photos, as well as keep Atticus engaged. In addition to this, his SUPER TALENTED mom made these costumes especially for the session. The most amazing part? They’re no-sew! She fashioned these masterpieces using only hot glue. Amazing!

William is Six Months! - Baby Session
This Christmas Baby is halfway to ONE! William was so sweet for his at-home session. It was a sweltering July day, and he was happiest in his diaper! This man’s cute little tootsies definitely stole the show, as he enjoyed laying on his back in the perfect “happy baby” position. What an absolute joy he is!
The G Family - Family Mini Session
The G Family looked beautiful for their family mini session under the shady trees. I love the summery colors they chose to wear! I always start a session with a few posed family shots, and then follow the children’s lead to get more natural looking captures. Noelle had fun picking flowers, and little man Cam enjoyed running and exploring the forest. He was very busy, but I got him to look at me with a few irresistible peek-a-boos. Sweet boy couldn’t help but crack a smile.
Nelle Violette - Newborn Session
What a pleasure to meet sweet Nelle after photographing her parents for their maternity session in May. They did not know what they were having, so the anticipation of Nelle’s arrival had an extra surprise in store. For their sweet baby girls session, we started with lifestyle shots in the nursery, and then moved on to a few posed. Nelle gave a mix of awake and sleepy looks for her newborn images. Both are equally lovely on her! I love her traditional name, with Nelle being inspired by her mamas great-grandmother Nellie. Also, the middle name Violette seemed so appropriate with our maternity session taking on an unexpected purple theme with the many wildflowers that were blooming that day. Because of this, Antique Purple seemed to be the obvious choice for her wraps. I can’t wait to continue to watch Baby Nelle bloom as she grows!
The H Family - Family Mini Session
I love the beauty of nature, but I also love a good “urban” session. For this one, I met up with the H Family in downtown Zelienople, one of my favorite Main Streets. We got a variety of backgrounds in a quick 30 minute mini session. Annie was too cute, and showcased her personality and beautiful dress (can you believe her mom made it!?).
The RS Family - Family Mini Session
I so enjoy watching this family grow every year. They knew they wanted a natural, simple background for their annual mini session, but weren’t sure where to find it in the middle of suburbia. I suggested one of my favorite spots, Cranberry Woods! I love this location. Shoot it at the right angle, and you’d think you’re deep in the forest instead of in the heart of a bustling business park.
Hadley is One! - First Birthday Session
It was wonderful to spend a warm June evening with Hadley and her family. She looked so adorable frolicking in the golden sunlight, chasing bubbles, and collecting rocks and pinecones. This little sweetie loves nature, and it was fun to catch her in her element. I was fortunate to document her life from newborn to first birthday, and it was a joy to watch her grow.

Franco is One! - First Birthday Mini Session
Oh Franco! I just loved meeting you! This lil man was so sweet for his 1st birthday pictures. I’m a big fan of baby boys wearing classic looks, and Franco looked precious in his seersucker and knee socks! I wish him all the kisses, hugs, and happiness as he turns one - it’ll be an exciting year for this big-brother-to-be!
Ellie is One! - First Birthday Session
This First Birthday Session rounds out a full year of capturing Ellie! Her family purchased the First Year Special, as they also did for their oldest daughter, and received three sessions; newborn, baby, and birthday, for the price of two! I’ve truly enjoyed working with the W family for the past 3 years. They have the sweetest daughters, and such a well-behaved dog! Ellie made us work hard for her smiles, but once we got them, it was so worth it! Check out that little bottom tooth!

Darcy & Andrew - Maternity Session
When looking for inspiration for her maternity session, Darcy need not look further than her own backyard. Her beautiful, rural property was popping with greens and purples, and her gorgeous gown matched just right. We incorporated the wildflowers for her formal look, and then switched it up for more casual poses in her adorable overalls. A perfect look for the setting! Baby-to-be is going to have so much fun adventuring in their backyard with Mom, Dad, and “big sis” Maisy at their side.
Omar is One! - First Birthday Family Session
It feels so good to be shooting outside again! We had a beautiful evening for Omar’s First Birthday Session featuring some family pictures, as well. Omar could not have been any cuter, and his big brother too! I love a set of adorable brothers. They absolutely nailed their session, and were a great start to the spring photography season!
Enzo is One! - First Birthday Session
I’ve been lucky to photograph this sweet lil’ leprechaun over the past year. Enzo always brings the smiles at his sessions, and his First Birthday session was no exception. He was so cute and happy, and truly enjoyed his smash cake at the end - smashing it with both his hands and tootsies! Even big brother got in on the fun!
Holden is One! - First Birthday Session
Look at those cute little chompers! I can’t believe this little man is one! I’ve enjoyed photographing him over the past year. For Holden’s First Birthday Session, we focused on some simple baby boy favorites; like his train, balloons, and his sweet backwards hat. Tiny details that are true to his personality, and perfectly commemorate this time in his childhood. You don’t necessarily need a lot of decorations and props to have adorable birthday pictures.
