I love Harper’s sweet little “cheese!” smile! Her beautiful blue eyes popped against the blue sky for her rainbow-themed mini session, and that little grin made her almost TWO cute to handle!
The L Family - Child Photography Session
Vera and David were too cute during their Fall session to mark their birthdays, and celebrate their new dog Freckles! You would never know it was actively raining during their session. These kids kept their smiles on, never complained, and luckily, didn’t show any raindrops on their adorable outfits! Speaking of, I loved the color scheme their mom chose. The earth tones looked gorgeous against the golden fields and trees just beginning to change.
Justin & Lauren - First Communion Portrait Photography
I’m always happy to take photographs for my family. Two years ago I took portraits for my cousin Lauren’s First Communion, and this year, I was happy to do so for her brother, my cousin Justin. We started out at the studio with a few standard indoor portraits, and then moved to the North Catholic Prayer Garden and grotto for a few more. Justin looked handsome as can be with those blue eyes and “Capra dimples.” It was fun to spend the afternoon with them!
Emma is Three! - Child Portrait Photography
Miss Emma is Miss Personality! She is so sweet, and her adorable smile is effortless in front of the camera. I’ve enjoyed photographing her over the past year, and was so excited to also capture a few mommy and daughter shots in this session. “Mommy & Me” portraits always turn out beautifully, as there is no love stronger than that of a parent for their child. That joy always seems to radiate through.
Happy 3rd Birthday, Emma!
Cameron & Natalie are One! - First Birthday Photography
I absolutely love this creative theme of a “Twinter Onederland” for Cameron and Natalie’s First! They will celebrate one year in December, and had a dazzling winter themed session in the studio with big sister Kendall too! It’s been a joy watching them grow up this year!
Aiden is Three! - Mars Birthday Photography
I have a soft spot in my heart for little boys (maybe that's why God is blessing me with my second son in June), and this little boy in particular is a very special guy. He and his mama are dear friends to my son and me. We met Aiden and his sweet mom last year through our "Mommy and Me" preschool class and instantly clicked with them. Soon we started having play dates, and one of our favorite spots to visit was the Mars Railroad during the warmer months when they would have their weekly train rides. So when Aiden needed a location for his 3rd birthday session, this was a no-brainer!
The historic train station offers lots of cool, vintage backdrops to perfectly showcase a little boy being a boy. Like my son Vinny, Aiden is into all things transportation, so we could show off his love of trains and planes through his pictures. His neighbor is a pilot, and lent Aiden his hat as a really cool, cute, over-sized prop. I absolutely love how these pictures turned out!
Happy 3rd Birthday, Aiden!
Emma is Two! - Cranberry Twp. Birthday Photography
I love the color palette Emma's mom requested for her 2nd birthday session. The neutral whites and gold look really pretty and feminine, while still being clean and simple. This Valentines birthday girl looked so cute in both her casual and dressy outfits.
Happy Birthday, Sweet Emma!
Lauren & Justin - Cranberry Twp. First Holy Communion Photography
This family is very special to me, they are my cousins and aunt. For Lauren's First Communion portraits, we took some in the studio with natural light, and a few at North Catholic High School in the prayer garden. Lauren and Justin were also able to light a candle for their daddy, my sweet, loving Uncle Dave, who recently passed away unexpectedly. He did get to see his daughter make her first communion this past spring, which was a wonderful opportunity for our family to get together. Lauren and Justin are now blessed with a very special guardian angel. I certainly felt his presence as we were taking these photos on such a beautiful day - sunny, blue skies, with a gentle, cool breeze.
Vinny is 3! - Mars Birthday Photography
My little guy is 3! For his birthday session, we went to the Mars Shortline Railroad (but told him we were going to Sodor, where Thomas the Train lives). It was a beautiful evening, and we enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mars Historical Society's train shed, as one of the members happened to see us taking pictures. Vinny was so excited to play on their train table! The kind gentleman even let us use one of the authentic railroad lanterns in our pictures.
We are planning to come back to the railroad in a couple weeks to ride the little train that is there on Fridays from 10am-2pm. There is also a beautiful pavilion with picnic tables perfect for packing a lunch, a train museum, and Thomas train table for the kids. Such a quaint little gem tucked away at the edge of downtown Mars. At the end of the visit, Vinny didn't want to leave, so we did what any parents would do and bribed him with ice cream to get in the car.
We're excited to return with our friends, and encourage anyone with a little guy or girl who loves trains to check out this railroad!
Adalyn & Brinley - Cranberry Twp. Family Photography
Adalyn and new baby sister Brinley came for their session bringing along personality and beautiful handmade crosses made by their great-grandfather. The girls were absolutely beautiful posing with their parents, and a joy to capture.
Mother's Day Session! - Cranberry Twp. Children Photography
These cousins had personality plus for their Mother's Day photo shoot. The photos will be used as Mother's Day gifts for their grandma. I'm sure she will love them! How blessed she is to have such beautiful, healthy grandchildren!
The S Family - Cranberry Twp. Family Portrait Photography
After a foliage delay and a rain delay, the Sevin family finally got a chance to have their Fall Family Portrait session complete with sunshine and beautiful fall colors. Their family chose an absolutely gorgeous location for their session that was only a few steps from their home. The kids were so well behaved, and baby Tommy was a little trooper. It was so fun to capture some candid moments with the family admiring their new addition.
Fall is definitely my favorite time to take outdoor photos, and Family Portrait sessions are beginning to feel like my favorite session to shoot.
