Kinsley and Max were so smiley and full of personality for their session, but it was their serious expressions that made the most stunning photos. Sometimes I prefer a dramatic , serious, black & white image over the traditional colorful smile, although both were absolutely beautiful! I was so glad their sweet mama was able to jump in a few pictures too. Us moms don’t get in front of the camera nearly enough. It was my pleasure to capture some memories of these kids at their fun ages.

Kelly & Bennett - Family Photography
We are slowly creeping back into the warm weather! Nights are longer, and Golden Hours are upon us! I love doing outdoor photo shoots, and this one with Kelly and Bennett was my first of 2019. It is best to do outdoor photography early in the morning or an hour before sunset. Contrary to what one may think, a sunny day is not ideal for photography, and the mid-day hours aren’t either. I met Kelly and Bennett in the morning to capture a few “mommy & me” style shots to commemorate the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. The love these two have for one another was evident through their smiles.
Emma is Three! - Child Portrait Photography
Miss Emma is Miss Personality! She is so sweet, and her adorable smile is effortless in front of the camera. I’ve enjoyed photographing her over the past year, and was so excited to also capture a few mommy and daughter shots in this session. “Mommy & Me” portraits always turn out beautifully, as there is no love stronger than that of a parent for their child. That joy always seems to radiate through.
Happy 3rd Birthday, Emma!

This session was so much fun - and my first ever in the snow! This mother son duo were dressed perfectly for the weather, and were so much fun. My favorite part was seeing how much this little boy genuinely loves and admires his mama, even giving her a kiss on the cheek without being told!
