Sweet Baby Gavin didn’t want to miss Christmas, so he came 17 days early and surprised his family who was in the midst of moving! This year may have been too chaotic for them to decorate their new house for Christmas, but it will certainly go down as their best Christmas ever as they received the most precious gift of their baby boy! Welcome to the world, Gavin!

Penny Noel - Newborn Photography
Little Penny played the part of Belle for her newborn session to match the theme of her nursery, and it totally spoke to the 90’s girl in me. “Beauty and the Beast” is a movie my sister and I grew up on, and I’m sure Penny’s mommy did too. The window lighting in the studio beautifully complimented our re-creation of Belle’s library, and Penny’s mommy brought the perfect props to complete the “dreamy, far-off look”.
Adelyn Lorinda - Newborn Photography
I just love the way I caught Baby Adelyn looking at her mother with wonder and admiration. It’s the same look on her grandmother’s face as she hugs her daughter and newest grandbaby. It’s always an honor to photograph multiple generations.
Reece Juliet - Pine Twp. Newborn Photography
The newest Princess of Pine has arrived!
My niece, Reece Juliet, arrived on August 29th. Her mommy, daddy, and big sissy are all thrilled to have this sweet, new addition - as is the entire family! Reece has a head full of adorable, wispy, light-brown hair, and to everyone’s surprise, blue eyes! What are the chances that my sister and brother-in-law (who both have dark eyes and hair) would now have two daughters with gorgeous bright blue eyes!? She is a tiny little thing, and looks like a doll next to my son, her big cousin Dominic, who was born 2.5 months earlier.
We all love you, Reecey! Welcome to the family!
Dominic Joseph - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
We welcomed our second son, Dominic Joseph, on June 11th, 2018 at 11:18 pm. Just like his big brother Vinny, once he decided to arrive, he came quickly! At around 4 pm I noticed my contractions were getting close together, and felt differently than the practice contractions I had been experiencing for months. After timing them and realizing they were anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes apart, I called my husband to come home from work so we could go to the hospital and at least get examined.
Once there, we were told I was 4 cm dilated, 90% effaced, and NOT going home. Within a few hours, I went from 4 to 7 to 10, and three pushes later, Dominic was born! He weighed 6 lbs., 11 oz. and was 18.5 inches long - coordinating perfectly with his birth date of 6.11.18 and birth time of 11:18.
To my pleasant surprise, big brother Vinny was so excited to have his baby brother come home. He has been excitedly talking a mile a minute for the past 2 weeks since Dominic's arrival, and my sleepy baby doesn't even flinch. He must have gotten used to all the noise and chaos while he was in the womb.
I finally got around to doing a newborn session for Dominic, while also being his mommy, food source, and keeping my 3 and a half-year-old at bay. Needless to say, the session took multiple attempts over 2 days, and I broke a sweat. Newborn sessions are always the most challenging sessions I do, but especially when I'm wearing both mommy and photographer hats. Thanks to my husband for acting as my "assistant" through the process.
I am enjoying taking the summer to myself to adjust to our family of four, but of course, can't wait to get back to photography in September! Please feel free to contact me over the summer to schedule your fall session!
Ella Rose - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Baby Ella Rose is as sweet and delicate as her name, so a feminine, classic light pink session with lace seemed so appropriate. She was simply darling, and I so enjoyed meeting her after working with her parents for their maternity session. Welcome to the world, little lady!
Zachary Jordan - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Sweet Baby Zachary was so precious for his newborn session. Once he got comfortable and warm, he dozed peacefully, and snuggled with his comfy elephant.
Welcome to the world, Zachary!
Cameron & Natalie - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Twins! Cameron and Natalie were born a few days before Christmas, and were my first ever twin session! I visited their home to capture them in their element with their parents, big sister Kendall, and dog Jax. The session was done using all natural light and a "lifestyle" approach to give a more candid look at their life as newborn twins at home. It was fun to capture how much they are loved.
Louis Wolfe - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
I'm always captivated by the stories behind baby names. I always ask the parents about the inspiration behind their mini's monikers, and Louis Wolfe's story is so special. His first name is after his great-grandfather, who was a strong influence on Louie's daddy, and his middle name is a reflection of his teacher parents love for literature. Put the two together, and you have this sleepy, smiley sweetheart - Louis Wolfe.
Charlotte Alice - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Baby Charlotte was so smiley and sweet at just 5 days old. After finally getting comfortable, she snuggled up and napped like an angel. It was so fun to photograph her beautiful features, and I can't wait to see her again in 6 months for her next session!
Lilah Quinn - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Big Brother Cameron was so proud of his new baby sister, Lilah! Upon his arrival, he was sure to ask me if I "liked her." I told him that of course, I did, but the more important question was whether or not he liked her. He replied with a resounding, "Yes!"
Baby Lilah was an angel for her session. Barely making a peep, and sleeping soundly the entire time. She was a joy to photograph. Congratulations to her mommy and daddy on such a beautiful addition to their already sweet family.
Adalyn & Brinley - Cranberry Twp. Family Photography
Adalyn and new baby sister Brinley came for their session bringing along personality and beautiful handmade crosses made by their great-grandfather. The girls were absolutely beautiful posing with their parents, and a joy to capture.
Mackenzie Lynn - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Baby Mackenzie visited me at one week new for her newborn session. She must have been having a sweet dream, as she kept smiling in her sleep. She posed in bright spring colors to match her nursery theme of corals and greens. It was a pleasure to meet you, Mackenzie!
Teague Hollen - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
The princess (Leia) has arrived!
Baby Teague and big brother Landry were lovely in lilac for their photo session. Sleepy, sweet Teague spent most of the time snoozing away, and ended her session posing as the angel that she is with simple, elegant angel wings. I met this amazing family through my son's music class when he and Landry were just babies, and I'm so happy to see their family expand with their beautiful new daughter. I can't wait to take their family photos this summer when Teague is a bit bigger!
Adilynn Leigh - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Miss Adilynn was so warm, cuddly, and sleepy at 5 days new and 10 pounds! She was born on St. Patty's Day, and is for sure her family's lucky charm. Big sister Danika was so proud to show off her new little sis. Without being prompted, they held hands, and I can just tell they're never letting go.
Daxton Alexander - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
I'm loving the lips on this sweet baby boy! Daxton and his precious pout was a great little model for his newborn session. He brought along his arctic animal pals and his daddy's college football helmet for some styled poses, but also showed off his gorgeous features for some simple sleepy shots. It was a joy to photograph you, Dax!
Lukas Jay - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Lukas was so sweet for his Newborn Session. At one month young, he made eye contact with the camera and gave me a little smirk - such a little model. He was very alert during his session, but only because he wanted to show off those blue eyes, I'm sure. He was a little gentleman with his auburn hair in a professional side part. Nice working with you, Sweetheart!
Margaret Elizabeth - Wexford Newborn Photography
I've had "Maggie May" stuck in my head for days now while editing these pictures, and I've been smiling to myself at the line; "Wake up, Maggie..." because this little Miss Maggie wouldn't go to sleep! This sweet girl had other plans for her photo shoot, and who's to blame her for wanting to show off her stunningly gorgeous blue eyes!
Taking these pictures at Maggie's home was a lot of fun. Not only did I get to reconnect with her mama (a friend from high school), but I got to use the backdrop of her perfectly decorated home! Newborn sessions done in the home are more candid and less styled than those done in my home studio, but that can make for some precious, unplanned moments that will be treasured forever.
Aubrey Madeline - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
It was a pleasure to meet Baby Aubrey this week. She was following suit with the last few newborns I've photographed by being wide awake for most of her session. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as I was able to capture some shots of her stunning blue eyes. As you can see by her last pictures, this sweet girl was eventually ready for a nap.
Isaac Josiah - Cranberry Twp. Newborn Photography
Since it is still the Christmas season, I wanted to share this session and highlight the warmth and love I felt from this family. I formerly worked for the March of Dimes for over seven years, and I still maintain a relationship with the foundation today. Their mission is to fund research to prevent pre-term birth, birth defects and infant mortality, so I am happy to still support them by donating my services to some of the families who have unfortunately dealt with birth complications.
This family of all boys was fun, crazy and happy, but they are sadly missing a brother. In tribute to him, they are active volunteers with the March of Dimes. Their aunt is a board member, and their entire family fundraises and walks in the March for Babies every spring. This coming year, they'll have a special addition to their team in Baby Isaac (pictured above) who was recently born happy and healthy.
What was most note-worthy about this family was their positivity and strength. Their mother and grandmother were both so grateful to have the session and be able to keep their son/grandson's memory alive through their work with the March of Dimes. Rather than focus on the sadness of their loss, they commented on how blessed they feel to have three healthy boys to look after. Their attitude was most admirable and called to mind a line from a classic Christmas movie for me....
