I have enjoyed capturing images of this family since they were expecting their sweet daughter, and I was thrilled that they asked me to fulfill a special photography request. They were wanting to recreate a photo from their engagement session (not taken by me), but with the addition of their 2-year-old, because she has always carried the picture around with her. I thought it was such a sweet idea! You can see the original picture below being held by their daughter.
The B Family - Family Maternity Session
The B Family are some of my repeat clients, and I’ve loved watching their sweet family grow. For Baby #3, they wanted a quick mini session featuring the whole family - just a few summery pictures to capture their last days as a family of four.
Their new little guy is already here, and soo adorable! I’ll be sharing some photos of him later this week!
The G Family - Family Mini Session
It was great to meet the G family on a lovely summer evening at golden hour. This was their first ever family session, and I think they coordinated perfectly! These images will look great on their walls, and in their memory banks for years to come.
The H Family - Family Mini Session
It was a pleasure to again meet up with the H family for a quick mini session in downtown Harmony! This family has the unique distinction of being the last family I photographed before the pandemic. Now that we are happily (and hopefully) on the upswing of things, I’m seeing more and more of my former clients. It was great to see how much their sweet daughter Annie has grown. She was giving me some major Goldilocks vibes in front of the log cabin.
The G Family - Family Mini Session
I love seeing a client’s family grow. I first met the G Family when their oldest little guy was just a few months old. Since then, I’ve been happy to photograph several milestones for them, from holidays to birthdays, to sweet family sessions. This time around, I got to meet their new addition, Caleb! What a sweetheart he was for their first family session as four!
Braxon is Four! - Birthday Session
I first met Braxon when he was a few months old, and I photographed his family during a beautiful golden hour session. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of documenting his birthdays (with the exception of last year - darn 2020) and watching him grow. When his mom contacted me this year for his birthday session, she told me their family is growing too, so we did a very special 4th birthday session with Braxon, while also featuring the soon-to-be family of 4. For the location, we met up in downtown Zelie where the family has put down their roots, and recreated a few classic shots from our past sessions as well as snapped some new ones.
Happy 4th Birthday, Braxon!
The B Family - Family Portrait Session
This session is exactly why I love the golden hour. The streaming sunlight perfectly illuminated the B family as they had their first photos as a family of five! They made my job easy with smiles as warm as the setting sun.
The D Family - Family Portrait Mini Session
The Fall colors are just about at peak, and I’m so excited for my Fall Mini Sessions next weekend! This past week, I got a lot of practice in with several family sessions held at Cranberry Woods, right where the Fall Minis will be. The D Family’s session had vibrant colors and smiles, all around. This time of year is definitely my favorite time to photograph!
The G Family - Family Maternity Session
I love working with this beautiful family, and I’m so excited for them that they are growing by another baby boy this Fall! This soon-to-be mama-of-two was as glowing as the gorgeous sunset behind her. It was a lovely shoot combining both family and maternity shots.
The C Family - Family Maternity Session
It was a pleasure to meet the C family for their family mini session, with a special feature on mom’s baby bump. They are such a lovely family, and big-brother-to-be Sam was so photogenic and well-behaved, that his excitement for his baby sibling showed right through his sweet smile.
The family doesn’t know what they’re having, so I’m extra excited to hear from them to schedule their newborn session. Blue or pink…what do you think!?
The M Family - Family Photography Mini Session
This sweet little guy was constantly on the move, but it was worth the chase to capture his smiles! What a sweet boy Nicholas is! These pictures come just ahead of his 2nd birthday.
I offer mini-sessions year-round. They are exactly half of a full session in time, edited images, and price, so they are a great option for families with toddlers who, let’s face it, just can’t hang for a full hour-long session. I get it - I’m in that stage of life too! If you have questions, check out the Pricing page on the website for more info, or reach out!
The S Family - Family Portrait Session
My friend Mandy and her adorable family are always so fun to photograph. Look at those little boys! They’re so sweet. The setting sun through the trees was the perfect setting to compliment these warm smiles.
The C Family - Family Portrait Session
The C Family got one of the last warm days of the Fall for their family portraits. The sun was shining, and the leaves were still vibrantly falling from the trees. It was a beautiful background for a beautiful family. Their boys are so adorable!
The G Family - Family Photography
It was such a gorgeous evening to capture this beautiful family! With temps in the low 70s, no humidity, and a beautiful sunset upon us, we could not have asked for better weather. Their sweet little guy was feeling under the weather, but you’d never know it! He powered through with his piercing blue eyes, and smiles courtesy of his grandparents.
The C Family - Family Photography
It was so nice to meet this lovely family from New Jersey as they were home visiting family for The Fourth. They requested something out of the ordinary for their session…they did not want a park or nature as their backdrop. So I introduced them to quaint little Harmony, PA, where the town pretty much shuts down at 4pm (with the exception of The Harmony Inn Restaurant…one of my favorite “haunts.” Pun intended). Little Max strolled around the town with his parents, with little to no pedestrians to worry about, and we got some great shots!
The P Family - Family Photography
Kinsley and Max were so smiley and full of personality for their session, but it was their serious expressions that made the most stunning photos. Sometimes I prefer a dramatic , serious, black & white image over the traditional colorful smile, although both were absolutely beautiful! I was so glad their sweet mama was able to jump in a few pictures too. Us moms don’t get in front of the camera nearly enough. It was my pleasure to capture some memories of these kids at their fun ages.
Braxon is 2! - Family Photography
It was great seeing Braxon and his parents again for their session in Historic Harmony. The last time I saw him, we were doing his first birthday cake smash, and he was just starting to get curls. What an adorable, handsome toddler he has become! Happy Birthday, Braxon!
A Gift for Omi - Family Photography
This Mother’s Day, I was honored to assist a friend in creating a beautiful gift for her sweet Omi. Oma or Omi means grandmother in German, and my friend credits her caring grandmother with raising her to be the woman she is today - and I can say as her friend, she is a phenomenal mommy, so her Omi should be very proud.
For this session, my friend and her children wore authentic German clothing from her Omi’s hometown of Berlin. These are outfits they wear every year when their family attends Oktoberfest activities here in the states. The most special part of all? My friend actually wore the outfits her children are wearing when she was little! For Mother’s Day, she was able to print these pictures and present them to Omi side-by-side with photos of herself in the outfits as a child. How special and unforgettable.
I LOVE family history, so if you have a family heirloom or location that you’d like to capture in photos, please reach out to me. I’d love to help you create these timeless memories!
Kelly & Bennett - Family Photography
We are slowly creeping back into the warm weather! Nights are longer, and Golden Hours are upon us! I love doing outdoor photo shoots, and this one with Kelly and Bennett was my first of 2019. It is best to do outdoor photography early in the morning or an hour before sunset. Contrary to what one may think, a sunny day is not ideal for photography, and the mid-day hours aren’t either. I met Kelly and Bennett in the morning to capture a few “mommy & me” style shots to commemorate the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. The love these two have for one another was evident through their smiles.
The D Family - Marshall Twp. Family Photography
Nothing like a fall photo session on a sweltering, humid 80-some degree day! Lucky for us, there was a cool breeze coming off the water, and a light sprinkle in the air. Miss Ava and her parents were such troopers with their beautiful smiles - you’d never know it wasn’t actually “sweater weather.”
